Candidates for admission to A+ World Academy will be considered for enrollment in any one of the last three years of high school study. A+ World Academy encourages students to complete a two-year circumnavigation of the world and to have the opportunity to explore the full spectrum of our programme. However, students may also apply for a single year of study at any of the levels offered.
A+ World Academy has a rolling admission and follows a first come, first serve policy. We do not have an application deadline. Given the limited places available, we highly recommend that you apply as soon as possible for this one-in-a-lifetime boarding school experience.
Step 1: Request Information You may request information either by email or phone. We would be delighted to send you our school prospectus and/or speak to you over the phone about our exciting program. Please feel free to contact us at any time. We will aim to get back to you as quickly as possible.
Step 2: Application Procedure Please see below for a description of the application procedure. Our application and some of the required documents are available online. For information on grade placement, please see the following link as a guide (insert link to the grade placement chart). The required documents are as follows:
- Application (150 Euros)
- Copy of passport
- School transcripts for the past two years
- Two academic letters of reference (confidential)
- Personal short essay on a topic of global significance (300 words)
- Any other pertinent educational information that might assist the school in understanding your child’s history (e.g. an educational assessment)
- Interview (Skype) We’ll arrange it with you once we have received all the information
Step 3: Decision We aim to process and review the applications as quickly as we can. Depending upon the time of year, we hope to pass along our decision within 5 business days upon receipt of all required application documents. We will send you our decision by email.
Step 4: Deposit If an offer of acceptance is granted, we request a non-refundable 10% deposit, within 10 business days. Once the deposit has been paid, the place is secure. If the deposit is not paid within the 10 business days, we cannot hold the place. A welcome package outlining specific information and instructions will be sent to you in the spring.
